April 2026 – Church Events & Announcements...

Sermon of the Month✨

This series is an exploration of the internal and external voices that challenge our peace, our identity, and our direction in God. On Saturday, 14 March, we are taking our message into the beauty of the outdoors for a special gathering at the Stirk Park Sound Shell. We will reflect on how to navigate the internal conflict between our spiritual desires and the pull of our lower nature (Romans 7:25), and how to find mental clarity amidst the "whispers" of the world.

In Part 2, we focus on finding victory in the internal tug-of-war. Even in peaceful surroundings, we recognise the mental battles we face daily. Together, we will learn to lean into the truth that God declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) and that our times are safely held in His hands (Psalm 31:15).

Join us for worship, teaching, and fellowship in the fresh air. No need to bring anything extra—we have it all covered! We will be sharing a free catered meal together afterwards—a great opportunity to connect and grow together in the heart of Kalamunda.

(Note: If it rains, we will meet at our usual home, the Jack Healey Centre, at 5:00 PM)

Welcome to April at LFCC Kalamunda! 🕊️

As we step into a new month, we are moving from the battle for our minds into a season of Spiritual Empowerment. This April, we invite you to discover what it means to live not by your own strength, but by the power of God’s Spirit. Whether you are seeking a fresh start, a sense of purpose, or simply a community of grace, there is a place for you at our table. Come as you are, and let’s experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit together.

This month, we begin a powerful new series on Saturday, 07 March: The War of Whispers.

Every day, we are caught in a crossfire of voices—some build us up, while others, like the whispers of despair, failure, and loss, threaten to pull us off course.

This series is an exploration of the internal and external voices that challenge our peace, our identity, and our direction in God. Over the next four weeks, we will reflect on how these "whispers" can lead us down paths that seem right but end in death (Proverbs 16:25), and how to navigate the internal conflict between our spiritual desires and our lower nature (Romans 7:25).

In Part 1, we focus on navigating these conflicting voices. We are reminded in Ephesians 4:29 to let no corrupt word proceed out of our mouths, but only what is good for necessary edification. Together, we will learn how to silence the whispers of the enemy and lean into the truth that God declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) and our times are safely in His hands (Psalm 31:15).

Join us for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Prayer ministry is available, and we share a light meal afterwards—a great opportunity to connect and grow together.

This series is an exploration of the internal and external voices that challenge our peace, our identity, and our direction in God. On Saturday, 21 March, we return to the Jack Healey Centre to reflect on the "Whisper of Deception." We will look at Proverbs 16:25, which warns us that there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

In Part 3, we focus on the path of wisdom. When the world whispers "this way" and our own desires pull us in another, how do we discern the true voice of the Good Shepherd? Together, we will learn how to stay grounded in the truth that God’s counsel shall stand (Isaiah 46:10) and that our times are safely held in His hands (Psalm 31:15).

Join us for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Prayer ministry is available, and we share a light meal after the service—a wonderful time to connect and support one another.

"Experience the peace of the hills as we welcome the changing season. Join us for a refreshing morning at Lesmurdie Falls to enjoy the crisp autumn air and God’s creation. This is a relaxed time for fellowship and nature—a perfect way to prepare our hearts for the final 'War of Whispers' service later that evening. 🌿🥾"

On Saturday, 28 March, we conclude our powerful March series: The War of Whispers. Throughout the month, we have explored the internal and external voices that challenge our peace, our identity, and our direction in God.

Every day, we are caught in a crossfire of words—some build us up, while others, like the whispers of "too late" or "it's over," try to pull us into hopelessness. In this final session, we anchor our souls in the ultimate truth: that God declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).

In Part 4, we focus on trusting the Sovereign Voice. Using Psalm 31:15, we declare together: "My times are in Your hand." We will wrap up the series by learning how to maintain a lifestyle of edifying speech (Ephesians 4:29) and unwavering trust in God’s perfect timing for our lives.

Don't miss this powerful conclusion. Join us for worship, a final message in the series, and our weekly community meal. Prayer ministry will be available for anyone seeking to break free from the whispers of the past.
